2. 'Plant-A-Row for the Hungry' Campaign
Country Way Garden Center is the head of the Greater Rochester Area Chapter of the Garden Writers Association 'Plant-A-Row for the Hungry' Campaign. Please join in the efforts and plant a little extra in your garden this year to help feed the hungry in our area. We have partnered with Foodlink and coordinate with them at harvest time to make sure donated garden produce makes it's way to those most in need through their network.
For more information click on the 'Pant-A-Row for the Hungry' link on the right.

6. Adopt-A-Highway Program
Country Way Garden Center adopts the 2+ mile section of Rte. 441 that runs in front of our property. We took on this responsibility to our community and the environment in the spring of 2010 when it became available. To date we have collected 29 huge bags of garbage and volunteered 18.5 manhours to keep it clean. Please be safe on the roadways, we are concerne that most of the trash is discarded beer cans!
